Forechecking takes 5 players
Jordan, Troy, and Patrick keep it in the zone. After Troy's check in the corner, Jordan gets a shot on net, and Brandon holds the puck in at the blue line.
Fans and forecheck
Drawing inspiration from the many family and friends in the stands, Patrick and Troy work the forecheck. Notice how Patrick's stick steers the player towards the boards and an impending meeting with #14. Brandon is off screen, but is covering the boards in case the puck makes it to the blue line.
Ryan steers the puck away from the attacker
Ryan does a nice job playing the puck away from the forechecker.
Face-off win and D skating the puck out
Ben wins the face-off cleanly for our set play to the weak-side wing. We can't get to the puck before the Mound defenseman who holds it in our zone. Ryan saves the day before Corey is able to carry the puck out of the zone.
Jordan's 3rd goal vs. Mound
Jordan and Troy forecheck vs. MoundWestonka in the Christmas cup. Ultimately, the puck comes back to the point for a shot from Carter and Jordan tips it in for his hattrick.
