The volunteer deposit amount is $500 for all families and is due at registration.  If you are registering online it is your responsibility to turn in your deposit check to the Registrar with your other paperwork that must be submitted.  No skater will be allowed to participate in any ACYHA activities without their deposit check turned into the association.

This refundable deposit check is required to ensure that all volunteer service hours are fulfilled.  When your volunteer commitment is fulfilled the deposit check is destroyed.

If at the end of the hockey season your volunteer commitment is not met, the deposit check will be cashed.  You will be given ample notice near the end of the season if you have not met your volunteer commitment before your check is cashed.  However, please don't wait until the end of the season to try to complete all of your hours.

We do not prorate your deposit based on the hours you've worked. It is your responsibility to track your family's hours.  Families that have fulfilled their volunteer commitment will not be permitted to give "extra" hours worked to another family.
