Holiday Decoration Fundraiser

ACYHA Holiday Fundraiser for 2011

The ACYHA board is asking all ACYHA families to participate in our hugely successful Holiday Fundraiser. Other than the concession stand this is our largest fundraiser and the only that is association sponsored. This fundraiser virtually sells itself at this time of year. Last year the association netted nearly $20,000 in profit from this activity. These proceeds help to maintain an affordable athletic experience for our children. The dollars help in the general fund with ice fee, equipments, jerseys, scholarships and other hockey related expenses.

For 2011, The ACYHA Board is requesting a minimum of 10 items to be sold (excluding bows) per family. Previous years it was "suggested" or "the goal of 10 items", but for equity of those that opt out of the fundraiser (with a $50 buyout) a minimum has been established. You can certainly sell more as many, many, many families do. As a whole, in 2009 family units sold on average 18 items per family.

We start right away after hockey registration to get the early start on other organizations selling holiday wreaths. Contact neighbors, friends, relatives, and co-workers. Almost everyone buys some sort fo holiday decoration at holiday time.

We will provide a full-color brochure provides as a visual aid and will help make your sales easy as well as an order form and related pricing to your house via mail no later than September 15th, 2011.

If you are registering on-line it is your responsibility to turn in your deposit check to the Fundraising Director. No skater will be allowed to participate in any ACYHA activities without their deposit check turned into the association. Once you turn in your order and money due, your fundraising deposit check will be destroyed assuming the minimums have been met.

All orders must be turned in by October 30, 2011, in the envelope we will provide. If we receive nothing or you do not meet the order minimums from your family, the fundraising deposit check will be cashed.

Any families registering after October 16th must pay the Holiday Fundraiser Fee of $50 during their registration process.
 

Holiday Decoration Fundraiser.......How does this work?


1.  Register your player 

2.  Turn in your Fundraising Deposit Check of $50

3.  After registration you will receive a mailing at your home address that includes instructions, brochures, pricing, and order form.

4.  Sell wreaths to friends, familiy, neighbors, collect money at the time of sale.  All checks made payable to ACYHA.

5.  Turn in orders to your Team Manager or at New Hope Ice Arena - South Rink, the Wreath drop off hours will be posted once ice time confirmed . Wreath Drop off box will be weekend of October 29th/30th. 

5.  Orders will be available for pick at the New Hope Ice Arena, Saturday November 19th from 9am to noon.

6.  Deliver to your friends family and neighbors in time for the Holidays.
