Defenses slugged it out, but ACYHA U12B finished off Le Sueur 2 - zero at Albert Lee on Sunday. Neither team managed to get the puck in the net in the first period. ACYHA U12B took the lead in the second period with two unanswered goals. It would prove to be too much for Le Sueur. With both teams scoreless in the third period, ACYHA U12B conserved its lead, and was the winner.

This was the season opener for Le Sueur but ACYHA U12B entered the game with a record of 5-18.
