NEW Volunteer Positions OPEN

ACYHA is now accepting applications for:
Girls Tournament Coordinator: 15 Dibs Hours 
Work with the Girls Travel Director to find and schedule tournaments for all girls travels teams. Attend two to three meetings with a board subcommittee to discuss tournaments and ice scheduling. Manage all communication for tournaments until team managers are in place and ready to support, then support the team managers throughout the season with addition questions as needed. Most of this work will be completed in July, August, and September. 

Girls Special Events Coordinator: 20 Dibs Hours (can be split between two people)
Work with the Girls Travel Director to determine which Special Events will be scheduled for the upcoming season. Organize all events from communications, securing locations, finding volunteers/helpers. This role will coordinate the Dance Party in September, organize the ticket sales for the Woman's Gopher Game, and at least one additional event.

ACYHA Mission Statement:
The primary purpose of the Armstrong Cooper Youth Hockey Association (ACYHA) is to give kids, regardless of their age and athletic ability, an opportunity to develop hockey playing skills and game knowledge in a safe and fun environment, and to promote enjoyment for youth families.

ACYHA Sponsors Movies In The Park: Aug. 24

Join ACYHA for a fun evening when it sponsors New Hope’s Movies in the Park! Meet Olympic Gold Medalist and ACYHA Alum,  Kelly Pannek, along with other Gopher Women's Hockey players. Stay tuned for added festivities!

When: Friday, Aug. 24
What: D2: The Mighty Ducks. Movie starts approx. 8:30pm. Pre-movie festivities, including hockey obstacles, begin at 6pm. From 6:30-7:30pm, Kelly Pannek, along with some Gopher teammates, will sign autographs! Food and beverages available for purchase (sponsored by New Hope Dance Competition Line). 
Where: Civic Center Park, just west of New Hope City Hall.

Friends, family, neighbors and peers...come on out! The event proceeds ACYHA's fall 2018 Try Hockey For Free events and its 2018 Learn To Skate Clinic program.  Dates/times are now set!
